The Last Prisoner to be Released. We are truly gratified to learn that there is a prospect of the early release of Lieutenant J. C. Braine, of the late Confederate Navy, who has been, since the close of the war, and is now a prisoner in Fort Delaware. Lieutenant Braine has never had a trial, and it is understood that he will be released. Upon parole; and when his case is called, a Nol J-os., will be moved by the District! Attorney of the District in which he may be indicted. ; Thus at length justice will be meted out to a man who is not a whit more guilty than any one who es poused the "lost cause," but who has, by a concat enation of circumstances,' been made to bear im prisonmeht and suffering to this late day.
