A communication in relation to regular daily telegraphic market reports, from the agent in this city, was considered and elicited quite a spirited discussion, but the resolution accepting the proposition of the agent, together with an amend ment to the sume, were laid on the table. A very creditable display of parlia mentary tactics was made on a motion to rescind the late resolution passed by the Chamber io relation to brokerage, which resulted in an adjournment without action.
