The Kaleigh Telegram says :
We leam from a letter received in this
city on yesterday, that Col. W. P. Hen
derson was seriously, if not fatally, cut in
the abdomen a few days since in David
son county. It seems that a difficulty oc
curred between Col. H.' and a ' man who
was superintending his farm, .when the
latter drew a knite and cut him across
the abdomen, inflicting a wound some six
inches long. .
