I We examined the plan, yesterday, of the ad dition which lias just been commenced upon the warehonsp of Messrs. Sprunt Sj Hinson, on Nntt, between Mulberry and " Wailnut Streets. The "building was formerly of one story, but the increasing business of the Arm has made it necessary to add another story, pit second being intended for an office. There are other Warehouses on the property, but the jone which is to undergo the transformation is the one nearest the street.. The building, as Stated, will be two stories high, with a balcoey jon the South running the entire length of the building, and will be surmounted by a hand jsome and commanding tower. The end front ing the street; will be corniced and otherwise handsomely finished, presenting a fine appear ance from the (street The finest press brick, jmanufaetnred in this city by the Messrs. Little Jimmle Heaton alias "Cheap Jim," jthe Republican candidate for the Legislature from this county, made a long-winded speech !at City Hall last night. The audience, which jwere mostly colored people, i were doubtless very much edifled.by his learned and grandilb jqnent discourse. He thanked God he was a j4carpet-bagger," and was very severe ? on the Ka Klux, though he very strangely forgot to 'gay anythln about the doings of the Klan, headed by I-owrey, in the county of Robeson. iWe remained in the'Hail.only a few ' minutes, Ibnt we came to the conclusion that, , though "Jimmle" has a good voice, many such efforts as that last night will spoil it beyond all , re demption. He relieved himself of a vast jkmount of gas, and we hope be feels much bet ter this morning. Samuel B. Cblnnls. i We are informed by prominent gontlemeu from Brunswick that Mr. Samuel R.
