The ceremony 6t dedicating the HaJt of Cape Fear Lodge No. 2, 1. O. O. F.; will take place this evening in public. The Cape Fear (colored) Steam Fire En gine Company had their engine, on the wharf yesterday afternoon, practicing, butthe clouds beat them so handsomely at their own game of throwing water that they gave it up in dis gust. V; '' Notice is given that on and after the 10th of January passenger trains on the Wilming ton, Columbia and Augusta Railroad will cease to rud to Kingsvllle. The route from Wll: mington to Augusta will then be via Columbia. The only arrests made yesterday, so far as we could learn, was a white wosaan, found on the streets in a "state of lptoxrcatlon," and a colored man, charged with larceny. They were both furnished with spare-lodgings in the Guard House. The pavement on Front street, between Dock and Orange, in the vicinity of Thorburo's bakery, is represented to be in a very bad con dition.
