On Tuesday night the ceremony of-dedication of the Hall to the " business and purposes of Odd Fellowship" took place:' We were pleased to find the hall well filled with beautiful ladles, who had as sembled to grace the occasion with their pres ence. The choir led by Prof. Grabau and J. Hanson Uowdeo, discoursed its sweetest strains from time to time, as the ceremonies progressed, and we but repeat the words of a learned legal gantleman of our city, who was present, when we say that "more impressive and sublime ceremonies it has never fallen to our lot to witness, though we have seen many solemn and interesting ceremonltt in church and State." . The dedicatory services were perfomed un der the direction of Deputy Grand Master W. J. Yopp, of the Grand Lodge of North Caroli na. Past Grand -Thos. H. Howey acted as Grand Warden, Past Grand Master W. S. G. Andrews as Grand Marshal, Past Grand Jno A. Nicholson as Grand Herald, and Past Grands R. H. Jones, John Sholar, J. C. Wood and A J. Yopp as Grand Heralds of the North, South, East and West. In the order named. Past Grand Geo. H. Kelly, Grand Chaplain. Past Grand Master Wm. L. Smith, Chairman of the Building Committee, delivered the hall to the Deputy Grand Master. After prayer Jay the the Chaplain and mnsle from the choir, the ceremonies proceeded, and were conducted with all due solemnity to the close, after the impressive ritual of the Order. After the Lodge had been dedicated, D. G. Master, W. J. Yopp, proceeded to Instal the officers for the ensuing term, .which was done in the presence of an interested audience, of which ladies made a fair proportion.
