Petition of sundry citizens of the Fifth Ward far various improvements in that quarter of the city, was referred to the Committco on Streets and Wharves. - A resolution that the Mayor be authorized to purchase two additional mules to work on the streets, at a cost not to exceed t4"0, was referred to the Committee on Streets and Wharve?. .
