Among the most, important of the addi tions and changes in the tax ordinance, as made by tbe Board, we find the following: fcvery person buying or; selling stock, either dead or alive, at wholesale, shall pay a tax of $25 per month. ' wV j Cart houses shall be subject to a tax of $5 per month.' ' Every place,1 other than a livery stable, where horses, mules, cattle, carts, buggies or wagons. are stabled or kept, shall be considered acart house. Commission merchants, whose sales are under Jice (instead of ten) thousand dollars per- month, shall pay $5 per ! month; and wheu such monthly rales are five thousand and under ten thousand dollars, he shall pay $7.50 per month.
