rascality he says t he obtained a job to write

was in session at Jacksonville." We com
mend the enterprise of the fellow, but must
atthe'same time deny , the soft impeach
ment of a relationship, as claimed by the
fraud.

death, on Sunday morning last of Mr.
Henry : R Perrin, one of Wilming
ton's oldest ; and most worthy - citizens,

of much sadness and sorrow. Mr. Perrin
had been ill for some months past, but ,on
this particular moining he appeared much
better and got up and dressed - himself,
after which he. was in the act of combing
his hair.before a glass on the bureau, when,

from his grasp and he fell to the floor and
