We saw yesterday a new gold and silver coin scale and counterfeit coin detector, which shows by one motion the three tests of weight, diameter and thicks ness of any gold or silver coin. It is of interest here, perhaps, as the invention of J. F. State Fair. The North Carolina State Fair opeoa at Raleigh on Monday, the 13th of October next, and will continue during the week.
