ThrowlDE stone. The reprehensible practice indulged in by, small boys ot throwing stones is often complained of. They "don't mean any harm by it," but it sometimes results in se rious consequences. Yesterday several youngsters about fifteen years of age were arraigned before Justice Mill Is for throwing stones, one of which struck an infant child of Mr. Hugh McDonald in the side. It was at first thought that the blow would prove fatal, but happily its injuries were found not to be serious. The youth upon whom the responsibility was finally fixed, after a long examination, was fined $1.00 and the costs. K1VBR AND HIAHINE.
