A friend of his in forms us Hint his design is to establish a school in v uich the- Ancient and Modern languages will not be taught, but the whole time of the teachers will be devoted to English, Mathematics and tbe Natural Science?, with constant practice in every day buaiuess methods. If it shall meet with favor, be will establish a practical school in which undivided atten tion will be given to those branches of knowledge which may be immediately utilized in business pursuits, and allow tbe pupils to leave school at seventeen to nine teen years of athorouglv .equipped so far as school work can equip tnem, ror successful entrance upon business life- Gen.
