The city presented a beautiful appear ance yesterday morning when tbe sun rose bright and unclouded upon the snow capped trees and houses, and the scene to those who so seldom revel in such sights looked more like some lovely picture or grand panoramic representation than the sober, delightful reality. There were two or three sleighs on the s'reets, but no one en tertained the slightest apprehension-that the occupants were in any danger of being lost in a snow drift.
