It was resolved, as the opinion of the
Board, that the excavation of the streets
for the laying of pipes for water works be
permitted to progress until the 15th of May; j
provided, that if during the progress of
the work within the time named, in the
judgment of the Superintendent of Health,
it be dangerous to the public health, he
shall require the work to cease.
The matter of the water supply adopted
by the Water Works Company wss freely
