On motion, th members of tbe Board of Macisuates and County Commissioners resolved themaelvea into a joint meeting to consider county affaire other than pertaina lng to education. Justice John S. James being requested to continue as presiding officer- Chairman Bagg, of the Board of County Commissioners, explained the action of the Board in reference to the dividing line be tween the lands of J. F. Garrell and those of the county, and read an order in refer ence thereto, and on motion the action of the Board waa endorsed and confirmed. Mr. Chairman Bagg asked tho concur rence of the Board of Magistrates in n proposition of the Board of Commissioners to have tin roofs placed upon the buildings connected with the County Poor House, and have the same painted, explaining the' necessity of such action. After some discuaaion it was moved and carried that the Board of County Commis sioners be authorized to have the work done. a Mr. Chairman Bagg next invited the at tention of the meeting to a proposition of the County Commissioners to build another v!nf In tha I Vinnttr C.nnrt TTnnm similar to "Bi " " "I the one now attached to that building, in - eluding a fireproof room for records, witii iron abutters, joists,., girders, etc., and a room for the Clerk of the Criminal Court; also for the enlargement of the Grand Jury room etc., the whole at a coat not to. exceed $2,500, and to entail no ad- ditlonal tax upon the county.
