Whereas a libel has been filed in the District Court of the United States, for the Cape Fear District, In Eastern District of North Carolina, on the 18th day of October. 1883, by Seth W. Davis, Ubellant, against the Barque Ganger Rolf, her tackle, apparel and furniture, alleging in substance that the Master of the said Barque, in violation oi a cnarter party made with tne iibei lant, failed and refused to take and receive on board of the said Barque fifty thousand feet of lumber, which the Ubellant was prepared to ship thereon, whereby the Ubellant was damaged to the extent of three hundred dollars; and the -further sum of fifteen dollars lighterage on 10.C00 leet or lumber tendered and refused.
