Cross Creek Township, including Fayetteville, gives Cleveland 561, Blaine 540. scattering 3, a Democratic gain over 1880 of 40. Cedar Creek Green 572, Brogden 526, scattering 1, a Democratic gain of 124; Cleveland 129, Blaine 129, a Democratic gain of 49; Scales 129, York 129, a Democratic gain of 59. Gray's Creek Scales 166, York 138. a Democratic gain of 6; Green 164, Broeden 138, a Democratic gain of 36. Rockfish Scales 163. York 126, a Democratic gain of 106. This precinct in 1882 gave- Dockery 43 majority over Bennett, and in 1880 it gave Buxton 83 majority over Jarvis. The incomplete returns now at hand indicate a general Democratic majority of 350. LINCOLN. Liscolntok. Nov. 5. Returns from eight out of ten precincts show that the Democratic maiority of 1880 will be doubled. The Democratic majority for Lincoln will be over 300. The entire Dem ocratic county ticket is elected. Edwards, Independent Democrat, is badly b ten. CLEVELAND. Shelby, Nov. 5. Cleveland gives 1,510 Democratic majority, with a full vote. Rutherford elects the whole Democratic ticket by 425 majority. WAYNE. GoLDSBORo, Nov. S.T-Returhs from 14 precincts in this county show a gain for Scales of 310 over Bennett and a majority of 348. The other five precincts will re duce this majority abont one hundred. Later Scales majority in the c unty is not less than ''one hundred and fifty and S ted man's and Green's about the same. , . ROWAN. Salisbury, Nov. 5. Scales majority :n Rowan is 1,200, Henderson's 1,200. The whole Democratic ticket is elected. CATAWBA. Newton, Nov. 5 Five townships in Catawba give Cleveland 1,435 majority. Scales and Stednflan's majority is somewhat Th estimated maioritv of the countv is 1.700. Cleveland gains over the Jarvis vote in this township 78 votes. CRAVEN. New Berne, November 5. The vote of Craven so far as heard from is 2,071 for Blaine and 857 for Cleveland. A net gain of 280. . JONES. . PoUoksville gives a net Democratic gain of 53. GUILFORD. Greensboro, November 5 We gain in Greensboro 81 votes over Hancock's vote. The Democrats claim the county by an in creased majority. Guilford's majority for Cleveland is 200; for Scales 242; Reid for Congress 846 The Legislative Democratic ticket is elected. MISCELLANEOUS RETURNS. Raleigh, Nov. 5. Seven precincts in Edgecombe, Wake, Rockingham, Carteret, Wilson and Beaufort give a Democratic gain of 826. Granville elects the Demo cratic ticket. The gain in Raleigh is 24. Guilford, Orange. Johnston, Wake and Cumberland precincts swell the gains re ported last to 1872 over Jarvis. Beaufort county gives three hundred maiority. Cleveland county gives 1,500. Greenville, Nov. 5. Pitt county gives the Natioual, State and Congressional tickets about 150 majority all a clear gain over the vote of 1882. The Democratic Legislative and part of the county ticket is elected.' Twtuty-two coun ties, well scattered, give 10,851 majority, a gain on Jarvis's vote of 6.152. They g.- ve 63,000 votes in 1880, out of 237,000. Many precincts elsewhere vote at the same rate. Legislative gains of 21 are reported. Raleigh, Nov. 5. Green county gives Blaine a small majority. Heavy Demo- -cratic gains in Cabarrus, Martin, Gaston, Burke, Nash, Rutherf jrd and Beaufort, counties. Returns from 410 precincts out of 1,250 in the State show net Democratic gains of over 10,650. Tnere is no reason now to believe the Democratic majority will fall under 25,000. Magistrate's Court. Tena Holly, colored, was before Justice Millis, yesterday, charged, with assault and battery upon Mingo Marshall. Judgment suspended on the payment of costs. Bill Holly, colored, charged with assault and battery on Mingo Marshall ; j udgment suspended on the payment of costs. Mingo Marshall was arraigned on a peace warrant sworn out by Tena Holly, and re quired to. pay costs and give bond in the sum of $25 to keep the peace for thirty days. Mingo Marshall, for assault and battery on TenaHolly, was required to pay the cbsts under a suspension of judgment.
