The case was argued at Norfolk last week. i After a brief statement by counsel today, Mr. TThom, representing the Greenville (Va.) Land & Lumber uo. nouuuawu iwwn Bayne, of Portsmouth, Ya.. as receiver. John S. Wise, representing Gen. Mahone, opposed the nomination of Mr. Bayne, and nominated the present temporary receiver, " the U. S. Marshal of Virginia. Gen. Brad ley T. Johnson, representing the Bankers & Merchants' Telegraph Co., nominated Alexander H. Dehaven, of New York, and W. W. Mars, of Philadelphia." Judge Hughes said it was important to preserve the interests of the corporation, andthat the Court was of the opinion that one re ceiver ought to be appointed, and not two, and all parties should agree on that one. The Court would give them until next Tuesday to choose a receiver, and if they did not agree by that time the Court will appoint. ' Mrs. N. H. Nash, 817 McRae St, Wil mineton. savs: "I had a serious attack of malarial fever, was so prostrated that my mind became afflicted.
