were to conaider whether or not. in justice
to the entire community, these terms would
justify the outlsy asked. I do not claim
the honor of being the "defender of this
act of the Board of Aldermen." I would
be very glad to have that distinction "thrust
upon me," but in my judgment they need
no defender. Their own action Is their
beat defence.
