The Pegotty won the race, beating I the Idler by one minnte and fifty-five I seconds. The Loulie was the winner in the second class. The Phantom, for some reason not stated, dropped out before the race was finished. The champion flag was presented by Mr. Wm. Latimer, and received in behalf bf the Pegotty by Capt. Nor wood Giles in a pleasant humorous speech. The prize won by the Loulie was presented by Mr. Wright Meares and received by Capt. Atkinson. The judges were Capt. Jno.
