A meeting of the Association of the Third N. C. Infantry, Army of North ern Virginia, was held last night. Col. Wm. L. DeRosset, the Presi dent, announced the object of the meeting to take aotion regarding the death of ex President Jefferson Davis, an honorary member of the Association- Dr. Thoa. F. Wood, surgeon of the regiment, offered the following testi monials, whioh were unanimously adopted as expressive of the feelings of the Association, to-wit: We come to pay the tribute of respect to the memory of our depart ed honorary member, the Hon. Kerchner, on taking the chair, stated the object of the meeting to request a general observance of to day in memory of the late Jf resident Jefferson Davis. On motion of C. H. Robinson.
