Oar people are beginning to realize
the benefits of diversified industry.
There are numerous industries now, tar
nishing lucrative employment to many
people, which ten years ago were either
unheard of or of tog little importance to
be taken into account. Among these
might be named the gathering
and caring of dog tongue, an
industry which has grown to con
siderable proportions, particularly along
the W. & W. R. R , and the growing of
tube rose bulbs, largely engaged in at
Magnolia and other points.
And now several enterprising Individ
nnls are turning an honest penny oy
shipping to the North a 1 aortaof Christ

received that a car load was shipped
from Wallace not long since, and a gen
tleman who was at Crohly last week re
