One Tract, Ijing on the waters of Little River, and
nearly around the the town of Troy, and very near to
it, containing about 37*M) Acres, a oonsiderable por
tion of which is lively farming land, covered with a
great quantity of very valuable timber, and abounfling
with many lasting springs of good water, and healthy.
.Also, one other Tract containing 25f)U acres, a few
miles West of Troy, lying on the waters of Island

The Terms of Sale will be as follows;
One third Cash; one-third iu twelve months, and
one-third in eighteen months, with interest on the
time payments at the rate of eight per cent per un-
num. Upon receipt of the cash payment, certificates
will be issued to purchasers, by the provisions of
which the Lands will be subject to re-s ile in cases of
failure to meet the ti;ue payments at their respective
maturities. Titles will be delivered only upon receipt
of the last payment.
The location of these Lands upon the line of a great
railway, their convenience to a large market on the
seaboard, and their general healtlifulnesB, together
with their intrinsic value for cultivation, combine to
make them very desirable to purchasers for actual set
tlement. .Amonjr them may be found some of the best
Cotton Lands in East Mississippi, as well as large
tracts of valuable timber, and such opportunities for
favorable investment are rarely ofl'ered to the public.
Tbe Lands will be offered in subdivisions of eighty
to one hundred and sixty acres, with the privilege of
the remainder of the same section unsold.

Cliatham county, N. C., on the 8th inst , a neprro
boy name I .11 M, about 18 years of age, of dark brown
color, about five feet high, heavy built, and weighs
from 1-10 to 150 lbs He is smart and quick spoken,
and rocks when he walks. The only notable mark re
collected is a scar on the middle of the forehead, near
where the hair joins. He had on, when last seen, a
brown Tweeds coat, with ilaps on the pocket. .A re
ward of Fifty Dollars will be paid for him, if taken
out of the county of (’hatham, or Twenty rive Dollars
if taken in it.
