within fifteen miles on eitlier side, along the line of
the Mobile and Ohio Railroad, was made by the LTni-
ted States to the States of Alabama and ^lississippi.

mittee, under authority vested in us by the Trustees
aforesaid, in accordance with the provisions of said
Trust, and by resolution of the Board of Directors,

The Terms of Sale will be as follows: ]
One third Cash; one-third in twelve months, and ;
one-third in eighteen months, with interest on the
time payments at the rate of eight per cent per an
num. Upon receipt of thu cash payment, certificates
will be issued to purchasers, by the provisions of
which the Lands will be subject to re-sale in cases of
failure to meet the time payments at their respective
maturities. Titles will be delivered only upon receipt
of the last payment.
The location of these Lands upon the line of a sreat
railway, their convenience to a large market on the
seaboprd, and their general healthfulness, together
with their intrinsic value for cultivation, combine to
make them very ilesirable to purchasers for actual set
tlement. Among them may be found some of the best
Cotton Lands in East Mississippi, as well as large
tracts of valuable timber, and such opportunities for
favorable investment are rarely offered to the pul)lic.
