A PROCLAMATION, Bphis Excellency, Thomas Bragg, Governor of North Carolina. ^M7’nERE.\S, it has been represented to me that w w one Archibald McDougald, late of the County of Cumberland, did on the 27th day of February last, in said County, kill and murder one Thomas Munroe, and that the said McDougald is a fugitive from justice, and has escaped beyond the limits of this State. Now, to the en l that the said Archibald .McDougald may be arrested and brought to trial for his said of fence, I do hereby issue this my Proclamation, offeri.ig a Reward of 1 wo Hundred D dlars for his apprehen sion and delivery to the Sheriff of Cumberland County. DESCRIPTION. McDougald is about fifty years of age. of light hair and complexion, blue eyes, of quick speech, has a scar on the face near one of his jaws, weighs about 165 or 170 pounds, is addicted to intoxicatiou, and while drunk is turbulent and troublesome.
