W. Plank Road, 9 miles from Fayetteville, and reaching within a quarter of a mile of the Rail R»ftd, containing ■i20 Acres, some of which is cleared, some good B»ttoiu Land yet to clear. A Urge two atory Dwelling HOUSE, a new Kitchen aud good Siable, a line place to take in travellers: two Springs within reach of the houaie, a wagon yard where much manure in accumulated, with a new well of the best water; the very place to set up work shops, black-smithing, wagou-making; making ploughfj, spirit barrels, shoes, &c., would do well, the road being quite public. The very best of white oak and other timber can be brought down from Moore County on the oars very cheap, and to a point within half a mile of the place. The range for cows, hogs aud sheep, is exceedingly large and good, the creeks and branches are full of reeds, dry cattle winter very well without feeding. Any quantity of fire wood can be cut on the Land and sent to town on the rail cars. I have raised very good corn here without manure. It is the i best land for peas, potatoes untl wafer melons I ever saw: we keep water melons, when we have them, in the portico where they cun be easily seen from the road: they sell fast and at a fair price I planted a fewscup- pernon^s last spring, they grew finely. This is an ex cellent location for orchards, the .«pritjg frosts are quite light; a pure aired high section, as healthful as thf mountains.
