That paper says the duty of Republicans is plain, and if they are really in favor of any particular class THE WESTERN ROAD PAS SAGE OF MR. FLEMMING'S RESOLUTION IN THE SENTAE. On yesterday the resolution of Sena tor Flemming came up, authorizing the Governor to appeal from the decree of the Circuit Court to the; United States Supreme Court, in the case of Clews and others against the Western North Carolina Road, the State to give the necessary appeal bond. The resolution passed the Senate without opposition, and was immedi ately sent to the House ior concurrence, when, on motion .ot Mr. Craige, the rules were suspended and the resolution taken up, but pending the motion to make it the special order in the House to-day ior 12 o'clock, that body ad journed.
