Elli ott, at Btatesville, on Thursday last, it was a cowardly assassination. There had been some bad feeling between them, and they had had angry words in the St. Charles Hotel. Young Elliott went to his father who was ia some rear room, telling him be would kill Neal if lis was not taken away.
