Pinnix, of Lexington, long the faithful aud popular' represen tative of Davidson county in the legis lature, surrendered to the little rosebud inhabiting deity, Cupid, reinforced by statelier and sedater Hymen. He was married by Rev. J. Kiernan, of the Episcopal churob, to Miss IL Courtney Baxter, only daughter of Dr. O. F. Baxter, of South Mill, Camden county. The attendants were O. F. Baxter, Jr., and Miss GerbuJe Fatter ; and W. M. Baxter and Visa Alethia Weeks. The newly wedded pa r, immediately affcer the ceremony, took the steamer for Norfolk, and arrived in Raleigh, by the Weldon train, yeeterday afternoon, bound on a southern bridal tour.
