The brig Sicily, from St. ichael's ar rived at New-York, informs Uhitt Don Miguel's blockading squadron, consisting of one 74, three frigates, t vo corvetts, four ! brigs' and several transports, in all 17 sail, got under way from Sr. Mi chael's on the 26th of J.uly, and on th 9ih of August made an attack on the East end of iTerceira ; after bombardi ig for - about 8 h ours, they'effected a lant ing of 1 800 men,' in two divisions of i 00 each, in twenty-six large boats.
