THE CELEBRATED Hygcian Vegetable Pills, Can be had at (he Store John Primrose, -FAYETTEVILLE STREET, RALKIGD, N. C. MOAT'S MOlilSON PILLS THE GENUINE HYGEl AN VEGETABLE UNIVERSAL MEDICINE Accurately pre pared by Dr. H. S. Moat, of New Voik, from the original recipe used for many years by his late father, Mr. Thomas Moat, Vice President of the British Col lege of Health. Twenty years' successful administration of these celebrated medicines in Europe, and more than twelve years in the United States, have established their high -reputation. Thousands uf both sexes, w-'- c been restored to health the numerous suL Jscued from premature death and volumes of cfertd cases of cure, embracing every disease in the longcalalogue of human misery ; must convince the most incredu lous, of their superiority and the truth of the Hygeian theory, resulting from scientific research and expe rience, namely, lhat 'man is subject to only one real disease impurity of the blood." The Medicines being composed entirely of herbs or vegetable matter, purify the blood, aud carry off the corrupt humors of the body, in a manner so simple as to give every day ease and pleasure. Alan will be born to days of bliss, compared to what has hitherto been his lot, weighed down as he has been by disease, infirmities, and sufferings which no earthly power knew how to alleviate, until this dis covery was presented to the world. The weak, the feeble, the infirm, the nervous, the delicate, are in a few days strengthened by their operation, and the most obstinate complaints .are removed Ly perseve rance withoui tbe expense of a Physician. Adapted tu all circumstances and situations, they are tlie best Medicine ever invented for Families, or to take to sea, preventing scurvy and costiveness requiring no change of diet, particular regimen, or care against la king cold. 0j" The prepotency of these medicines, has indu ced many speculators to attempt imposition on the public, by forging the labels, or forcing their Imita tions intf nelice through the medium of the Press Seme of them pretend to Hygeian principles, by steal ing from the writings of the Hygeist and copying whole pages into their fulsome advertisements. But as they cannot copy the medicine, their speci fics or their deleterious nostrums prove to he unavail ng, their puffing and piracy become evident ; disap pointment to the afflicted ia eventual, and with just obloquy the pretenders fcink into oblivion. The Hygeian medicines first introduced into this country by H. S. Moat, in 1830, have for the last four years leen prepared by bim, and the increasing sale attests their intrinsic merit ; th y comprise two sorts of Pills. No. 1 and No 2, in single boxes of each at 25 or 50 cents ; and Packets containing both sorts, at $1.22, or $3 The Vegetable Cleansing Powders; in large boxes, at 37$ cents, with printed directions. Each packet bas a fac simile uf -the signature of H Shepheard Moat, and to prevent counterfeits, are signed with a pen by the district agent and sub-agent on a label of yellow paper. ', None are genuine unless they have these signatures, and are obtained from suh-agt-nis, who can produce their written appointments from the district agent, and whose names are advertised in their respective districts.
