The design of the Military Department being to fit the Pupils to act, in case of emergency, as Officers, the West Point system of instruction will be carefully put-sued, nor will the Army Tactics be departed from, in order to exhibit the boy for the benefit of the Institution, or for ant other nuruoses. By an Act of the last Legislature, the necessary arms and equipments will be furnished by the State, but Parents who wish their children instructed in tbe Military' Department, will be required to provide them wiih the prescribed Uniform. Parents aud Guardians, are requested not to allow iheir Children or Wards to have accounts in the City, but to deposit the money, for the purchase of neces saries, in the hands of the Principal. N.
