TJT is designed by the Bishop of the Diocese,, to H open a School for Boys in the neighborhood of Kaleigh. For this purpose, an estate has been pur chased about 8 miles from the City,' which, in re pect to retirement, healthfulness, and pleasantness of equation, is all that can be desired tor such an insti tution. The buildings will accommodate,' comfort ably, thirty hoys, which," for the present, must be the limit of the Sehool. It is designed, in this School, to revive a class, which, unfortunately, has become almost extinct in our community, namely, the class of boys. With this View, pupils will bo admitted at any period of childhood, however early , but not after they are 14 years of age. Thfy may continue in the School, as long, as by their good conduct, they entitle themselves to its privileges .The use of To bacco, in any furm, by the boys, will hot be allowed. A style of dregs, simple and uniform, will be pre scribed. And above all, and this is the greatobjest of the School, a constant endator will be made:so to imbue the .-minds of the children with mora)-and religious knowledge, principles and affections, that when they really get to be men, they may be fitted to discharge the high functions of an American citi zen, with an eye steadily directed towards iReir citi zenship in that "better eountry, which is eternal in the heavens." To this end, the Head of the School will be a Clergvman, who will be the spiriluaifather of the boys ; and a cbnpel will be erected the daily services of which, it i earnestly hoped, will mate rially contribute towards " bringing many sons unto ory." .... Due notice will be given of the time' when the School will be opened, which, probably, will not be later than the 1st July. After the opening of the School, its Sessions will correspond with thnae, of St Mary's, for the convenience of parents and guar dians, who may desire to send children to both Schools. ' The expense for board, washing, 4c with tuition in Ihe Ancient Languages, English and French, will not exceed f 175 per annum. The advantages of every kind afforded to the boys, will be at least equal to those furnished by the lst Northern Schools.
