Ladies unattended by Gentlemen, will not be admitted. The proprietors having been for many years liber ally patronized by the citizens of Raleigh, embrace thi opportunity of returning their thanks to their old friends and patrons, trusting on this occasion to merit a continuation of the same. The inducements which they intend to offer, being far superior to any thing of the kind that has ever been brought to the Southern Country, having purchased the Charleston Theatre, with a view of converting it into an Amphi theatre, commencing on the first of Oct next, aud having with them at this time all the Performers en gaged for that purpose,. Messrs Robinson & EUred feel confident in saying, they will be able to give a style of performance f-uch as but few of the ciiizer.s of Raleigh have ever had the pleaeure to witness Such a variety of talt-nt wit? never before found traveling with a Circus company, (and would not now, only for the circumstance above alluded to,) being a combination of Equestrian and Dramatic, Tragedy, Commedian.iBallet and Operatic perform ers, such as are only found in the principal Amphi theatres in the Northern Cities. To give the names of all the performers, and a Programme of perform ance, would be too lengthy and tedious. Suffice it to say, the Troupe is composed of THIRTY PER FORMERS, among whom will be found, two of the best Female Equestrians living, two of (he best Fe male Ballet Dancers in the United States, two of the best bare back Riders, the best Tragedian, the be.-t Comedian, the best principal Equestrian, best com ic rider, best Dramatic Equestrian, the two best Clowns, tbe best 2. 4, and 6 horse rider, best Hercu lean performer, tight-Rope Dancer, the largest and best Brass Band, largest and most commodious Pa vilion, twenty of the finest Carriage, eighty of the best Horses, the best Band Carriage and team, in short, the best conducted establishment that ever trav. eled in this, or any other country. The citizens will at once perceive the superiority of this immense Com pany, over all others, as it passes in grand procession through the principal StreeU, and on to the place of exhibition. It may not be amis;:, on conclusion, to state that the celebrated Italian Trick Clown, Sinor Felix Carlo, and familv, (of whom so much has been said by the N. Y. Herald and other leading papers, 1 1 attached to the Company, and will appear in Ral eigh. His astonishing feats are indescribable; tbe reader mast witness them, or remain in ignorance of the wonderful flexibility of the human frame. This remarkable family consists of six persons, all now in the employ of Messrs. R. & E. Also Mr. Bicox, a celebrated Equestrian, who travelled through North Carolina years ago, in company with Smith and others. Mr. B.'s performance is no doubt first in the memory of many a North Carolinian, who will be glad to improve the opportunity of again witness ing him. The accommodations of the internal' ar rangement of this immense Pavilion are on the most extensive and improved plan. Two gentlemanly ush ers will be in attendance, to point out seats provided for r amilies and parties. The Governor, Officers of Slate, and head of the Press, are. respectfully invi ted to attend. The Proprietors regret that pressing engagements prevent their remaining more than one day. Ladies unattended by Gentlemen will not be admitted. The re maining five Carriages, which will form the residue of this immense Troupe, are said not to be so gorgeous. Mechanics and anzans are invited to avail them' slves of the opportunity of witnessing the most ex tensive and imposing spectacle ever beheld on this continent which will enter Raleigh on the morning of tbe 4tthheep a lookout and you will see an im posing scene sure enough.
