This Sarsaparilla is used with the most perfect success in Rheumatic complaints however severe or chronic The astonishing cures it has performed are indeed wonderful. Dr. Town3end-Dear Sir: Nearly twenty years ago I took a violent cold, which settled on my lungs, and affected me severely indeed, finally, it became a con stant hacking cough, but not so severe as to prevent rae from attending to my business; within the last few years it increased on me gradually. At last I became reduced breathed with difficulty, and raised with my cou-gh much bad matter, and for the last Dine months previous to using your Sarsaparilla, nad regular night sweats ; indeed, my friends and myself supposed that I would die with the Consump tion ; but 1 have the happiness to inform you that, to my surprise, after using three bottles of your Sarsaparilla, I find my health restored. It relieved me gradually, and I am now enjoying much better health than! have before in 26 years. I had almost entircfylosi my appetite, which is slso returned. You are at liberty to publish this with my name in " the papers, if y6u choose-' My little girl, who is three years old had a very bad cough the whole of last VV inter. It im mediately counteracts the nervelessness of the female frame, which is the great cause of barrenness It will not be expected of us, in cases of so delicate a feature, to exhibit certificates of ures performed, but we can assure ibe afflicted, that hundreds of cases have been reported to us. Several cases where families bave been without children, alter using a few bottles of tbisinvaluable medicine, have been blessed with healthy offspring. Dr. Townsend My wife being greatly distressed by weakness and General Debility, and suffering continually by paia and a sensation of bearing down, falling of the womb, and with other difficulties, and Having known cases where your medicine has effec ted great cures, and also bearing it recommended for such cases as 1 bave described, I obtained a liottleof your Extract of Sarsaparilla, and followed the di rections yo gave. A year since I was taken with the lnlluenza, and my whole system left in a debilitated state. 1 was induced to try Dr. Townsend's Sarsaparilla, and after taking two or three bonles, I was very much relieved, and attribute it entirely to the said Sarsaparilla I have continued taking it, and find that I improve every day. I believe ii saved my lile, and would aot be without it under any consideration. G. W. McLEAN. DYSPEPSIA. No fluid or medicire has ever been discovered winch so nearly resembles the gastric juice or saliva, in decomposing food and strengthening Hie organs ot digestion, as this preparation of Sarsaparilla. It positively cures every case of dyspepsia, however severe or chronic. Bank Department , Albany. May 10. 1345. Dr. Toicnsend: Sir I have been afflicted for several years with Dyspepsia in its worst lorms, at tended with soreness of stomach, loss of appetite, ex treme heart-burn, and a great aversion to all kinds ol food, and for weeks (what I could eat) 1 bave been unable to retain but a small portion on tny stomacli. Nature lias formed the bowels for the evacuation of all nnhehhy hu mors ; and if man would but use common seuse, he would take care they performed this office faithfully. If ihe bowels are out of order if too slow or too fast a few doses of Brandrelh's Pills will bring them to order. Ask the man who was dying from coustipa ted bowels, what cured him ; he tell you, Brandreth a Pills cured him hi a week. So with other diseases- I'welve Brandreth Pills, rubbed down in half a pint of molases, cured a little boy of an ulcer of the face, , which was rapidly spreading to his eyes, and which , a dozen doctors had tried to cure, but could not ; the , poor parent would have given half they were worth i to have had it cured, but every thiug they tried did ' no good, until they gave it a tea-spoonful of molas- . ses every day in half a pint of winch they had rub- ; bed dowu twelve lirandretlt rills. Uelore the whole of the molasses was taken, the ulcer was cured. And yet some foolish people call Brandrelh's Pills a quick : medicine. It would be well if there were a few more such quack medicines. Will all your pretended Sar- sapanlla Compounds cure like the Brandreth Pills? , Cau they said you lo persons cured, as Mr. Brandreth : can ? Can they point out to you people who had ' been helpless for years from Epilepsy and St. Vitus' i Dance, who have been cured by their remedies? If . they caunot, Dr Branrireih can. Can they point out to you a person who for twenty years bad never j had a stool Without having used medicine or tnechan- I ical means, aud whom the Brandreth Pills cured in j a month, and gave him as healthy evacuations as he , bad wheu he was a child ? If they cannot, Dr. Brandreth can. ! By haviug the Brandreth Pills always on hand, should a sudden attack of uckness take place, they can be given at ouce, aud will often have effected a cure before the physician could have arrived. InCholic and iuflamalion of the Bowels, these Pills will at once relieve, and pereeverauce in their use, according to the directions, will surely do all that medicine can do, lo restore the health of the palieut. Jn all ca-es of Indigestion, Worms . Asthma. Dis eases of the Heart, and in all Affections of the Stom ach and Bowels, the Brandreth Pills will be found a neer-failiiig remedy. To insure ihe full benefit of these celebrated Pills they should be in the house, so that upon the 6r; commencement of sickness, they may be restored to. One dose then is belter than a dozen after disease has become established in the system. BE CAREFUL OF COUNTERFEITS. How to avoid ihem : Each Agent who sells the genuine Brandreth Pills, has a ceitiGcate of Agency which has been engraved at a vast expence. It rep. resents the Manufactory at Siug Sung, on the bank of the Hudson River, and is signed by Dr. Bran dreth. and his seal stamped upon the paper, also a fac-simile of the labels upon the boxes.
