BY a eentleman from Philadelphia, there is an account of a battle having been fought on Rhode Jfland, between our troops under general Sullivan, and the Britift army there under general Prefcot. No particulars are yet received, but general Sullivan's letter to general Wafhington, fays the con flirt was fevere, that we kept the field, and have loft a number of brave men.
