In conversation with a gentleman from the mountain district of this State, says tho Raleigh Observer, we learned a very simple, and he says, la all cases wherein it has been tried, a sure cure for consump tion, which we give for the benefit of all so suffering. It cannot hurt, if it does not cure, as it is simply equal parts of saltpetre and loaf sugar, placed, in the mouth, near the palateand theu dissolved and swallowed ; to be repeated as often as the tbroatbecomes dry, or any indication of a cough is felt. ;r The Wilmington Light Infantry. The services of this admirable corps having been accepted by Got.
