The following data, covering a period of 16 years, have been compiled from the Weather Bureau record:; at Raleigh, for ilie month of February: Menn or normal temperature, 43 de pr,' s. The coldest month was that of 1895, with an average of 33 degrees- The highest tem perature was 80 degrees on February 25, 1890- The lowest temperature was 2 de ar es below zero on February 14th, 1599. Average date on which first “killing” frost occurred in autumn, Nov. Ist. Aver age date on which last “killing” frost occurred in spring, April Sth. Average precipitation for the month. 4.28 inches.
