Anderson- and Syme Deny Reports of Any Inten tion To Withdraw The municipal campaign was some what enlivened yeeterday by Intima tions from friends of Messra Ander son and Syme that reports of their withdrawal had been spread by some one In touch with tha present com missioner. Both Mr.. Anderson and Mr. Byrne ware emphatic In their de claration that they would stay In tha fight until th last ballot was counted May J. It Is said that ths organisa tion that will keep the commissioners busy for the next ten days haa al ready been perfected. While work ers for Messra Johnson, King and Be well were apparently resting yes terday, after their apparent success of Monday, the opposition has hardly been aa buay on any day since the beginning of tha Brat campaign. Talk of alleged crooked methods on the part of certain workers would not down yesterday, but seemed to gain force In many quarters.
