A., detailed by the War Depart ment as director of military tactics at the University this year, the University heing designated' as a Reserve Officers Training Corps, is now busily engaged in mspping out plans for the B. O. T. C. this fall. Colonel Stevens is very enthusiastlt aver the outlook. With every indica tion that the Freshman Class will be as large if not larger than last year's, in spite of the prevailing unsettled condi tions, the colonel expects to develop a battalion worthy of the highest com mendation. .
