SEPT. 1ST CLOSING DATE STATE AID FOR FAIRS Only Sixty-two Counties Thus Far Have Made Applica tion For Help Septemlver first is closing date for all applications for State aiil and provision of judges for fairs. Those cou ities which desire State aid this year should file their application with the Extension Service at once. Applications received after September first will not bo con sidered. According to Mr. S. G. Rubi now, chairman of the Fair Committee, only fc! counties now have applications on file. Of these, 16 are for county fairs, 4 for district fairs, 3 for negro (airs and 39 for eommunity fairs. Every county eaa hava a county fair, four community fairs tad two negro fairs. These ahould be organized at once, and applications filed. , Every fair should strive for better attendance, more exhibitors, better ex hibits, finer program, mors contests, mors interest and a permanent organi ration.
