more of the daughters : of Peace,
members: ot the Itnleigh Chapter of
Peace Institute Alumnae and some
iiivit-d miosis, onpived the elegant
baniiuet, and draulc toasts to Peace,
the alma mater, the love for which
never crows cold in the hearts of
her daughters.
A murmur of admiration was call
ed Tinu bv the heautitully arranged
tables, which extended around the
hall, ihe space in the middle of the
sipiare t hev . formed being filled with
handsome palms. The rare blossoms
ol mountain ivv termed a viae along
the' edae of the tables, while vases
ol held daisies made a simple aud
most ellective decoration.
T he liaminet was elegantly served
in seven courses and while the feast
was being eiii ived 'many happy
leiiiiniscieiees ol da.s at Peace were
J::'ard around the hoard.
The baii(uet was no more enjoy
able, however, than Ihe i east of rea

McKiminon. in her own charming

mater, which was drunk standing.
