control will reduce rates on car
load shipments of stone (broken,
crushed and ground) slag, shells,
chatts, cherts, sand and grav
el shipped during the period
from May 1 to December 31, of
this year, when for use in road
building or road maintenace.
The reduced rates will be 10
cents per ton less than the regu
larly published tariff rates in ef
fect for the transportation of
these materials for commercial
uses at the time shipments move;
but with a minimum charge of
40 cents per net ton except that
where the regularly published
commercial rate is less than 40
