. CLARENCE JOHNSON HURT.
1 Red Roadster Again Goes to Ride-
Personal and Local.
. Corinth, March 5.—A boy’s curios
: ity is sometimes abundantly satisfied.
; Last Saturday afternoon Clarence
Johnson, aged 12, son of J. M. John
: son near Corinth, investigated a pecu
liar looking piece of tin with a match.
It soon proved, in action, to be a dy
namite cap and Clarence is minus
the ends of two fingers on his left
hand, has a black eye and a some
what disfigured countenance. He was
taken immediately to a Sanford hos
pital for treatment, but is now home

The red roadster took Jim Dickens
to ride one night last week and didn’t
get him home till morning. Four punc
tures and a trip through Shattucks
Creek canal, where the “good roads”
, used to be, got Jim’s goat. He got
disgusted and mad, and parked the
roadster in a good shed to remain
. there, indefinitely. Jim has decided
that it is more economical to use the
railroad in getting to and fro and in
cidentally to acquire funds for a final
