PRAISES THE RECORD HIGHLY, i
Mr. Editor:—
Dear Sir:—l do hope you will not .
think that I am worrying you nor
think that I am trying to take up too
much space in your paper, which I
love so much, and the one that I love
to come to me'every week. I am never
too busy to let it be in my home but {
a few minutes before I am looking :
over it to see what has occurred over
in my old home town and county.
When I see something that has been
done for the upbuilding o fthe county,
j town of Pittsboro and the good people
;here, it makes me feel good and then
I see the long list of new subscribers
to the good paper you are sending
and the large amount of news tha/
you are sending to us people to se<
who are off from the county, it makes
me feel good and thankful to you
for the kindness you show us for the
little sum of $1.50 for twelve months.
Now just as long as I live and
keep able to work I am going to con
tinue to read the Chatham Record.
With my very best wishes to the
Record and all its readers, I am
Yours very truly,
W. P. FARRELL.
