Brotherton. 75, a retired farmer, ■was burned to death tonight at bis home on Oakland avenue, while in the act of kindling a fire with kerosene oil. Brotherton poured some oil into a stove and when the oil came in contact with embers in the stove there. was a terrific explosion which set the house on lire.
