about which yellow candles made

Celebrated Birthday
Tuesday morning at ten thirty
at the kindergarten class, con
ducted by Mrs. J. L. Clements at
her home on Sixth Street, Little
Carolyn Moore, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Ivey Moore, celebrated
her sixth birthday anniversary.
The children gathered around
the birthday table, where the
birthday cake held place of hon

the little honoree. Afterwards
cream and cake were served to
the twenty children present for
the occasion. Carolyn received a

Presbyterian Auxiliary held at
the church hut was given over to
business matters altogether since
the meeting was the last one for
the church year. 'Wpth the pres

sented by the officers, secretar
ies of causes and circle chair
men. Mrs. Gordon Finley led an
impressive devotional period.
The following new officers
were elected: vice president, Mrs.

Henry Landon; historian, Mrs. C.
C. Faw; circle chairmen, No. 1,
Miss Norma Stevenson; No. 2,
Mrs. Watson Brame; No. 3, Mrs.
