Reeves, is seriously ill of pneumonia at their home in Asheville. It will be recalled that Rev. Mr. Reeves was formerly pastor of the First Baptist church of this city, and that Malcolm was born in the Wilkes Hospital here. Mrs. D. S. Lane and daughter. Miss Mary Lane, have returned from a weeks visit with Mrs. Lane’s daughter, Mrs. T. A. Mob ley. at Alexandria, Va. They also visited Mrs. Lane’s brother, Mr. Julius Martin, at Washington, D.
