Plan For Campaign

of the state, in cooperation with
the Ignited Brewers Industrial
Foundation, this afternoon met
here to Inaugurate a self-regula
tory plan for the betterment of
retail trade conditions and simul
taneously served notice of pend
ing action against any offending
retailers with the adopted cam
paign slogan of; "Clean-TIp or
Close-Tfp
Statewide activities will be con
ducted under the newly formed
Brewers and North Carolina Boer
Distributors Committee and will
he under the immediate direction
of a state director and an execu
tive committee composed of five
representatives of brewing firms
operating within the state and an
equal number of beer distribu
tors. Headquarters will be main
tained in Raleigh. A comprehen
sive advertising campaign will be
utilized in the effort to rid the

worthy outlets for malt beverage j
