O. Smoak with Mrs. Agnes Hart as associ ate hostess. Mrs. B. C. Blalock led the devotional period and was in charge of the business part of the meeting. Dr. J. C. Chamberlain was hostess at two lovefy parties at her home on C Street Mondry and Wednesday evening. On Monday evening she gave a dinner-bridge having guests for three tables. The count of scoree giave Miss Nonle Gordon the prize for,the highest number of points, while the prize for the first slam went to Mr.-?. J. B. Carter. At the second party Wednes day evening a dessert course pre- ce-ied the bridge game, whmh was played at three tables again. The high and low score awards were won by Mrs. Ivey Moore and Miss Lois Scroggs. Meeting Of Y. W. A. Held In Qty Friday The Ms.rch meeting of the Lot- tie Moo., circle of the Y. W. A met at the borne of Misses Mable rnd Thelma Kilby on Friday. The meeting was called to order by Miss Charlotte BarveL The min utes were read and approved and the roll called. There were nine old members and three new ones present. Miss Mable Kilby had charge of the program, title of which was “Elternsl Magic of Christian Love.” Those taking part on the program were Misses Charlotte Harvel, Mable Kilby and Wanda Korley.
